About the Role

Friedman Vartolo LLP is a dynamic and innovative law firm seeking an experienced Foreclosure Litigator to join our team. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for handling complex litigated matters and providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appearing in court on behalf of the firm and its clients
  • Drafting and filing motions, briefs, and memorandums of law
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis
  • Responding to discovery requests and pleadings
  • Maintaining responsibility for all aspects of contested cases, including devising legal strategies and executing on them
  • Overseeing support staff and reviewing their work

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in motion practice of contested matters
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania; New Jersey and/or New York is a plus
  • Litigation and appellate advocacy experience required
  • Experience handling foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eviction appearances in Pennsylvania
  • Superior appellate writing, legal research, and analytic skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Able to manage a heavy work load
