Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex marine equipment. Job Description

The Army National Guard is a leading organization in the field of marine equipment maintenance and repair. As a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer, you will be part of a team that ensures the smooth operation of our marine equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:




  • Service internal combustion engine ignition/fuel/cooling/electrical systems
  • Perform damage assessment and repair


In addition to your technical skills, you will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that our marine equipment is maintained to the highest standards.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Interest in shop mechanics, fixing engines, and machinery
  • Internal combustion engine theory
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


You will also need to meet the basic requirements for military enlistment in the Army National Guard. These include being at least 17 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and meeting physical and moral standards.
