Job Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for delivering skill acquisition programs and behavior support protocols in center, home, and/or community settings. This includes implementing programming that targets daily living skills, leisure skills, social skills, adaptive skills, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver skill acquisition programs and behavior support protocols
  • Implement programming that targets daily living skills, leisure skills, social skills, adaptive skills, and communication skills
  • Monitor client progress toward treatment plan goals
  • Take data using provided clinical software
  • Work closely with BCBA to ensure treatment plans are implemented as developed
  • Report to BCBA if client is not achieving treatment plan goals
  • Communicate effectively with parents, supervisors, and other related staff
  • Assist BCBA with conducting assessments and parent training goals
Requirements
  • Certification in behavior analysis
  • Adequate written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Commitment to ongoing training and skill development
  • Age: 18 years or older
  • Experience providing ABA therapies preferred
  • Passion for working with children
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • 12 months' experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transition-age youth, and/or families preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and every other Saturday
