Job Summary

Dakota Supply Group, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist in our Automation location in Sioux Falls, SD. The salary for this full-time position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.

About the Role

This electrical systems specialist will work with variable frequency drives, sensors, radio equipment, programming software, motor controls, and PLC equipment to develop and assemble custom and OEM panels for projects. The ideal candidate will have previous controls experience, a contractors or electricians license (preferred), and strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical control panels using variable frequency drives, sensors, and other equipment.
  • Design, build, and test panels according to customer specifications.
  • Work closely with engineering staff for efficient delivery of equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous controls experience.
  • A contractors or electricians license (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities, including excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • An understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.
  • General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office 365 programs.
