Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our healthcare construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role
  • Direct the workflow of multiple construction projects simultaneously, adhering to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and serve as the liaison between project team members, promoting the interests of both the business and clients.
  • Communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors, serving as the primary leader on site for each project.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer the company safety program, ensuring all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated, and assisting in safety inspections by outside agencies.
  2. Maintain company quality standards for all aspects of the project.
  3. Manage on-site safety, ensuring a safe jobsite for everyone involved.
  4. Maintain daily logs of activities and site conditions, manage the punch list, and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance.
  5. Collaborate with the project manager to formulate the project schedule, ensuring proper methods and sequence of installation, and maintaining company quality standards.
  6. Nurture good working relationships with all subcontractors on the project, developing community relationships that enhance business opportunities, and ensuring fair treatment of subcontractors.
  7. Document work orders/tickets accurately, understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders, and identify problems early to provide solutions.
  8. Develop and organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities/utilities, and identify long-lead items that need expedited action.
  9. Work collaboratively with the project manager and site operations team throughout the project's life cycle.
Requirements
  • A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast-paced project experience are highly valued.
  • Mastery of building processes and best practices.
  • The ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time, to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Project lead experience is preferred, with previous experience in a superintendent or project lead role.
  • Familiarity with sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office suite and ProCore.
  • OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
  • The ability to walk and/or stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs.
Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
