About the Role:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Mammography Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
  • Operate the radiographic equipment to produce radiographic recorded images of the body.
  • Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.

Requirements:

  • Either IR, or CT, or Mammography, or Quality Management certification, or one year of experience in a Specialty with an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in that Specialty.
  • California Mammography Certificate, when required for the position.
