Radiologic Technologist

Next Move Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during diagnostic imaging exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiology procedures in a timely manner, following established protocols and standards
- Utilize effective communication techniques to ensure patients understand the procedures and feel comfortable
- Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and configure equipment controls to set appropriate exposure factors
- Follow all safety protocols, including infection control, drug, and radiation policies
- Maintain equipment, report issues, and assist with inventory management
- Ensure all relevant documentation, such as patient history, consent forms, and requisitions, are obtained and properly recorded
- Maintain medical imaging records in a timely and accurate manner according to departmental policies
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Serve as a preceptor by providing training to new team members and assisting with new services and initiatives
- Be available to take call if required

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
- Certification/License:
- ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
