About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical team in Denton, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in line with the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You should also have a valid registered nurse license in the state of Texas or compact license, along with experience in medical-surgical nursing (1+ year preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about patients' medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
