Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Ensemble Health Partners. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital, ensuring accurate and timely completion of medical necessity / compliance checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard, relaying incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable.
  • Utilize quality auditing and reporting systems to ensure accounts are corrected, conducting audits of accounts and providing statistical data to Patient Access leadership.
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to patient visits, collecting demographic, insurance, and other patient information, including point of service collections and past due balances.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • CRCR Certification Required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid)
