ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Operations Manager is tasked with ensuring the overall success of the designated region by overseeing a substantial P&L, managing multiple business lines, enhancing employee satisfaction, and prioritizing safety across all sites.

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing both immediate and long-term strategies aimed at achieving financial targets and enhancing revenue performance. This includes improving rental units, leveraging Value Added Products and Services (VAPS) to enrich our offerings, and formulating a product/market strategy that drives growth and optimizes Return on Capital (ROC).

The Senior Operations Manager will ensure that our teams operate safely while continuously improving employee engagement and satisfaction metrics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the regional operations by formulating growth strategies and executing the overall business objectives.
2. Oversee the P&L to guarantee revenue growth and profitability for the region.
3. Manage the sales team in the field, creating effective communication and support initiatives to meet strategic goals.
4. Develop marketing and commercial strategies to fulfill annual performance objectives.
5. Implement growth strategies to achieve annual increases in rental units and revenue.
6. Mentor and guide employees, providing leadership to enhance engagement and meet business demands.

7. Proactively manage and cultivate leadership within the region to optimize fleet, real estate, and workforce utilization in line with customer needs.

8. Monitor market trends that may affect existing product lines and provide insights for new product development to the management team.

9. Supply other departments with timely information to support ongoing business activities, including forecasting and compliance issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in progressively responsible management roles within a business unit.
- Preferred candidates will have a proven track record of managing a P&L.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

- Experience collaborating closely with sales teams to develop product strategies and understand customer needs.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

- Ability to excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.

- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to quality improvement.

- Excellent customer presentation and communication skills.

- Established network within public administration, construction, and industrial sectors.

- Proven experience in rental businesses, such as construction materials or logistics.

- Experience in an international operational or functional matrix organization.
