Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Sales Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project business, planning and executing projects on-time while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Total project responsibility following quotations stage, including full management of customer orders, overseeing work to meet on-spec requirements, and resolving all customer or vendor disputes.
  2. Resolve all disputes associated with issues as they arise throughout the project process. Work with customers, vendors, and other departments to proactively resolve problems.
  3. Manage customer orders from time purchase order is secured through final billing, expediting shipments, managing weekly ship schedule processes, placing change orders, returning product, resolving freight claims, and reconciling project billings upon project completion.
  4. Develop and modify processes to address project needs and customer expectations, including project progress reporting, quality assurance updates, documentation, and change order adjustments.
  5. Lead project completion, manage internal and external stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships.
  6. Promote fair and honest dealings with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to benefit Sonepar, our customers, and the suppliers.
  7. Participate in continuous training and development opportunities to stay current with industry knowledge.
  8. Perform other duties as management deem necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • TWO-year certificate/degree from college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid decision-making skills, must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
  • Ability to work with flexibility and adaptability to workplace situations/expectations.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Effective Vendor Management skills.
