Job Summary

Reliance Matrix is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Accommodations Specialist II Hybrid to join our team. As a key member of our organization, this role will play a critical part in creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.

About the Role

The Workforce Accommodations Specialist II Hybrid will work closely with employees, healthcare providers, and employers to explore workplace accommodations that enable employees to perform the essential functions of their jobs. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its applications in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate requests for accommodations under the ADA
  • Manage a caseload of open accommodation requests
  • Engage employees, medical professionals, supervisors, and HR Business Partners to facilitate the accommodation process
  • Document accommodation requests and facilitate the interactive process between employees and employers
  • Engage with medical vendors to clarify and validate accommodation requests
  • Assist employers in developing essential function job descriptions
  • Stay current on state and federal laws and regulations surrounding the ADA and other relevant legislation
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Vocational Rehabilitation or a related field
  • Experience in RTW Services, Labor Relations, Absence Management, Disability Claim Management, or Project Management
  • Familiarity with the ADA and FMLA
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
