Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Epidemiologist for a 6-month contract position with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The successful candidate will work closely with our team of public health program professionals to contribute to diverse activities and initiatives aimed at promoting better health outcomes.

Major Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Perform data analyses on childhood blood lead surveillance data from multiple sources and projects, utilizing advanced statistical software such as R or SAS to create meaningful insights and visual displays.
  • Epidemiology and Surveillance: Assist in epidemiology and surveillance activities, including updating analytic findings, completing reports, and creating visual displays of data to facilitate informed decision-making.
