We're seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering: Adoption to spearhead our efforts in enhancing customer and prospect engagement with our products. As part of our ambitious growth plan, you will lead the engineering team behind Cloudflare's dashboard and cloudflare.com, driving innovation and excellence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Accountability
    • Own the successful execution of goals within the adoption solution area, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Lead by example, setting high standards for ethics and integrity.
    • Develop leaders within your organization who have their own track records of success.
  • Delivery and Execution
    • Drive goal-setting initiatives and take individual ownership of key objectives, including cross-functional projects.
    • Ensure regular progress updates are shared with peers, executives, and other stakeholders.
    • Validate team-level goals for appropriate stretch and impact, making adjustments as needed.
    • Monitor delivery across teams, unblocking obstacles to maintain progress.
    • Address underperforming teams by implementing necessary changes.

    • Work with engineering managers and principal engineers to implement best practices.

    • Stay informed about modern UX stacks and web technologies to effectively lead technical discussions.

Compensation

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $243,000 - $297,000 based on location, with a possibility of adjusting compensation depending on work location.
