Senior Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Interim HealthCare of Bellevue. The ideal candidate will have a current unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in WA state and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Universal Precautions for resident and staff safety.
- Prepare residents' medications for short-term absences following state regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement the nursing care plan for each patient.
- Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate.
- Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician and RN, including reactions to treatments and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition.
- Teach and counsel patients and their families/significant others on nursing care needs and related issues for home care.
- Participate in medical record audits as assigned.
- Attend staff meetings, patient care conferences, and in-services as scheduled.
- Read Daily Communication Logs for resident information.
- Document any changes in resident status in Progress Notes and review them regularly.
- Complete resident treatments as ordered and scheduled.
- Assist with personal care and physical support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in WA state.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Preferred minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced SNF environment.
- Two (2) positive work references.
- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
