Research Nurse

NYU Langone Health is seeking an experienced Research Nurse to join our team. As a Research Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in conducting clinical studies and providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our research programs.
About the Job:
As a Research Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting clinical research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with our research team to ensure the highest quality of care. You will work closely with our clinicians to develop and implement research protocols, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to the growth and development of our research program.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical research studies, including screening and participating patients, administering medications and treatments, and documenting patient data.
• Collect and analyze data, including patient outcomes and adverse reactions, to inform research protocols and improve patient care.
• Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement research protocols, including reviewing and revising study designs, protocols, and informed consent documents.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the growth and development of our research program, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
• Work with our clinicians to develop and implement evidence-based practices, including staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in clinical care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills in research and clinical care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• A current New York State RN license with current registration.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• Prior RN experience in a clinical setting, preferably in research.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location: NYU Langone Health, Long Island.
