Aon is seeking a seasoned professional to lead client service teams and drive business growth. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing Aon's relationships with assigned clients, identifying and meeting client needs, and promoting the value Aon delivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retain and grow Aon's business by cultivating relationships with senior client decision-makers and day-to-day client contacts.
  • Ensure overall account profitability through a value-based approach, resolving Aon compensation for services accordingly.
  • Lead Account Executives in developing and executing proactive contact initiatives to identify and satisfy client needs.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities and drive the renewal process.
  • Coordinate with Brokers in developing and delivering renewal strategies.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for client service teams.
  • Facilitate critical relationships between clients, Aon, and insurers.
  • Ensure client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods, and economic frameworks.
  • Lead stewardship planning and delivery.
  • Ensure overall account profitability through a value-based approach.
  • Arrange Aon compensation for services, utilizing Aon Pricing Council analysts and resources.
  • Educate clients in risk management, risk transfer, market issues, and relevant trends.
  • Marshal Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances.
  • Involves others across geographic, functional, and business unit boundaries to define interdependent responses to opportunities.
  • Manage input to and follow-up on invoicing and receivables process for assigned clients.
  • Earn at least 2 of the following Badges: Articulating Value Badge, RFP Rehearsal Coach Badge, and Redsheet Facilitator Badge.
  • May act as a team leader/people manager for other Account Executives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of risk insurance experience coupled with project and account management experience on mid to large accounts.
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
