Job Overview

The 20/20 Foresight Executive Talent Solutions team is seeking a seasoned Multifamily Asset Management Executive to join our client, a high-growth real estate development and investment firm. As an Asset Manager Associate, you will oversee the management and operation of a growing portfolio of multifamily properties throughout Texas.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in multifamily asset management. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of each asset's business plan, directing all external parties, and maximizing asset value and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee lease-up and stabilization of ground-up multifamily developments and existing assets through unit and clubhouse renovations.
  • Prepare and present semi-annual asset management reports to senior executives, highlighting key variances and recommending actions as warranted.
  • Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and adjustments to business plans for assigned assets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, identifying opportunities for value creation and presenting fresh ideas to increase asset value.
  • Conceptualize, implement, and execute value-add strategies, including expense reductions, revenue optimization, staffing optimization, and capital improvements.
  • Provide direction and oversight to property managers, contractors, and third-party consultants, ensuring effective project management and comprehensive leasing oversight.
  • Conduct regular site visits, property inspections, and management meetings at key properties to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage cash flow projections, quarterly distributions, and capital calls, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Evaluate and recommend capital expenditures, supervising the execution of large capital projects, including unit and clubhouse renovations.
  • Assist in managing debt financing, refinancing, and asset dispositions, providing strategic guidance on transactions.
  • Interface with consultants, brokers, vendors, attorneys, and other third parties, fostering strong relationships and driving successful outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, with a proven track record of improving portfolio operations.
  • Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in Real Estate, Business, or Finance, with a strong understanding of commercial and residential asset classes.
  • Established track record of designing or improving asset management processes & systems, with expertise in MS Excel and Yardi skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with an analytical approach and results-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and lead by example, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and bonus opportunities.
