About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist at Avera McKennan Hospital, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with speech, language, cognition, feeding, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and determine appropriate interventions.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to address patient goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited speech and language program.
  • Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of South Dakota.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a provisional Speech Language Pathologist under supervision.
