Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responding to incoming appeals and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Researching and resolving high-level grievances, appeals, and complaints.
  • Interpreting and explaining health plan benefits, policies, and procedures to members and providers.
  • Preparing files for clinician review and providing guidance to team members.
  • Administering ongoing grievance tracking, trending, and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of combined operations experience, including 1 year of direct experience in Appeals/Grievances or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

The pay range for this role is $22.70 to $31.77 for California-based positions.
