Job Summary:
\helpers are sought after to work as Certified Medication Aides at National Lutheran Communities & Services. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the right medications at the right time with compassion and care.\helpers must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine passion for providing quality care to others. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.\helpers will also maintain accurate records, observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or medication reactions, and provide compassionate support during medication administration.\helpers who thrive in fast-paced environments and prioritize patient satisfaction will excel in this position.\helpers must be certified, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess relevant experience. They should also demonstrate strong knowledge of medication administration techniques and safety protocols, as well as proficiency in electronic health record systems.\About Us:

\/li>Administer medications to patients with care and precision, following prescribed orders\/li>Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or medication reactions\/li>Maintain accurate and detailed medication administration records\/li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members about medications and care\/li>Assist in monitoring medication inventory\/li>Provide compassionate support to patients during medication administration\/li>Ensure compliance with medication safety protocols and regulations\/li>Participate in care planning meetings, offering insights on medication-related matters\/li>Assist with patient education regarding medications, demonstrating empathy and patience\/li>Collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care\/li>\Requirements:
\/li>Current Certified Medication Aide certification in good standing\/li>High school diploma or equivalent\/li>Minimum of 1 year experience as a CMA, preferably in a similar healthcare setting\/li>Strong knowledge of medication administration techniques and safety protocols\/li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills\/li>Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities\/li>Genuine compassion and patience when interacting with patients\/li>Proficiency in electronic health record systems\/li>A warm, caring approach that puts patients at ease during medication administration\/li>Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of medication management\/li>Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with individuals\/li>Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced or stressful situations\/li>Commitment to ongoing learning about medications and best practices in patient care\/ul>\/p>\/p>Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.-
