Internal Communications Specialist: Fostering Employee Engagement

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing internal communication strategies that foster engagement, transparency, and alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication plans to enhance transparency, engagement, and information flow across the organization.
Create engaging internal communication materials, such as newsletters, intranet updates, memos, FAQs, presentations, and video scripts.
Support initiatives that foster employee engagement, morale, and a sense of community, including organizing company events, town halls, and recognition programs in partnership with the internal Culture Team.
Manage and update the company intranet and internal communication tools to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and accessible.
Collaborate with senior leaders to craft and deliver key messages, ensuring that leadership's vision and goals are effectively communicated to all employees.
Assist in communicating organizational changes, restructuring, or updates in a clear and empathetic manner that supports employee understanding and adaptation.
Support internal communication efforts during crises or emergencies, ensuring timely and clear information is distributed across all levels of the organization.
Work closely with HR, marketing, IT, and other departments to align internal communication efforts with broader company initiatives and goals.
Measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, using metrics such as engagement rates, survey results, and feedback to continually improve strategies.
Provide communication best practices and guidance to managers and teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in internal messaging.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong background in internal communications, with experience developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, HR, marketing, and IT.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives.
