Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at GFL Environmental in Clarksville, TN. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment and trucks
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
