Job Overview

As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for setting, serving, and tearing down daily breakfast offered to our guests. You will greet each guest and make them feel comfortable, performing duties similar to those of a restaurant waiter or busboy, such as attending to special food orders or needs of the guests, clearing dirty plates from tables, relaying customer needs to the kitchen, and providing or refilling drinks.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Communicate special requests made by guests
• Provide personalized service to all guests
• Listen and respond to guests' requests and complaints
• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
• Order or purchase food supplies
• Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates
• Stock coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products
• Set out/arrange cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clear and clean tables as they are vacated
• Prepare and set up hot food items
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the Executive Chef
• Wipe up spills
• Restock items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
• Wash serving equipment and return to storage
• Return reusable food supplies to storage
• Keep the breakfast area clean, including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors
