  • Collects and documents admission and resident data with accuracy, reporting unusual findings to the RN and Physician in a timely manner.
  • Performs procedures and treatments according to Physician orders, accurately administering medications in accordance with policy and procedure, and documenting consistently.
  • Implements the plan of care as directed by the RN and Physician, receiving and implementing Physician orders accurately and on time.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment according to unit standards, implementing Physician consults and tests per policy and procedure.
  • Provides assistance to residents, responding to requests for help immediately.

  • Acquires and maintains current job knowledge and competency in area of practice.
  • Maintains current knowledge and competency in nursing practice and geriatric care.
  • Prioritizes workload and completes tasks in a timely manner.
