API Inspector

Turner Industries is a leading industrial contractor seeking an experienced API Inspector to join our team. As an API Inspector, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with inspection of fixed equipment, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

• Perform inspection of fixed equipment in accordance with reference code and procedures.
• Assist in performing duties associated with non-destructive testing of materials.
• Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by certified inspector/technician.

• API 510/653 certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• TWIC card.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be considered local to the job.

• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, and structures above and below ground level.
• Maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, and structures.
• Reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials.
• Coordinating the movement of eyes, hands, and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
• Lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead.
