Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Ductless Regional Account Manager to drive growth and expansion of independent distribution partners. The successful candidate will achieve significant revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic plans to increase sales, margin, and market share targets within the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Ductless HVAC division.

This role involves managing and developing distributor relationships, working with independent distributors to align on growth objectives and key action drivers, and applying sales tools to develop and monitor strategic plans and activities within assigned accounts.

The Commercial Ductless Regional Account Manager will also provide monthly product forecasts to enable supply chain and production efficiencies, use the distribution scorecard to facilitate performance expectations with independent distribution principles, and collaborate with internal resources to determine customer needs and develop support plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' HVAC experience, specifically in VRF systems
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing or related field
  • Experience working with distributors/contractors
  • Demonstrated sales experience and consultative value selling process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven team and project management skills
  • Solid ability to effectively prioritize critical tasks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel at least 75%
