We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry team at Tenet Massachusetts. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to the overall success of our medical center.
About the Role
This full-time nursing position involves working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis. Additionally, you will supervise staff, ensuring they provide appropriate care to patients. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to meet their requirements.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.AHA BLS certification and, if applicable, ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP certification.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required.
