The role of Assistant Controller is a crucial position within the financial operations team at Plug Power. This position plays a vital part in supporting strategic decision-making processes based on financial data analysis.

This key role involves collaborating with the Finance Director to develop and provide ongoing financial metrics and data points, which enables refinement and improvement of business strategies. Additionally, the Assistant Controller must be available to create custom reports and offer fact-based guidance upon request for various business purposes.

Some of the core duties and responsibilities include enhancing cost reporting processes for accurate communication of monthly/quarterly actual results versus budget, analyzing sales order, purchase order, and work order ERP configurations to ensure timely reporting, reviewing and maintaining accurate BOM structure costing, and building relationships with operational partners and collaborating effectively.

The successful candidate will have experience in cost accounting, financial systems, and ERP, along with strong analytical and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, coupled with five years or more of related work experience, including experience within manufacturing operations, is required.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $83,900.00 to $125,800.00 per year, depending on factors such as education, experience, skills, and geography.
