About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at American Health Communities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized healthcare to residents, including prescribed treatments and supervising other caregivers to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requesting supplies and equipment.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
  • Perform emergency procedures, such as CPR, to ensure the safety of our residents.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the state of Tennessee or a compact state as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Supervise support staff, including training, scheduling, and assigning work, as well as reviewing performance and assisting with problem-solving.
