We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northwell Health in Queens, NY.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Job

This role involves providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a home care Registered Nurse, you will assess patients' conditions, develop care plans, and educate patients and families on proper home health care procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and charting observations of patients' conditions
  • Completing evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs
  • Administering physician-prescribed medication
  • Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing healing progress
  • Providing education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies
  • Coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other individuals in the patient's care plan
  • Keeping patients comfortable through palliative care
  • Recommending tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for patients

You will be responsible for traveling to patients' homes to administer healthcare services and help them maintain their independence.

An ideal candidate would be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse, and have at least one year of hospital experience.
