Job Description:
As a Custody and Visitation Professional, you will supervise and coordinate visitation between custodial and non-custodial parents/caregivers and their children. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduling and supervising visits between non-custodial parents/caregivers and children.
  • Conducting thorough intake evaluations.
  • Assessing physical and emotional parenting skills/knowledge, boundary setting, and overall parent-child interaction.
  • Performing comprehensive note taking using DAP format.
  • Writing and submitting reports to the court, which may include testifying in court.
  • Acting as a liaison and family intermediary between custodial and noncustodial caregivers, the court system, and other service providers.
  • Regular data entry (Excel and agency database) and file maintenance.
  • Representing the agency in community or in interagency activities.
  • Attending professional development opportunities when available.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
A master's or bachelor's degree, 3-5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required for this position. Background in the counseling/mental health field is preferred. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate typing/data entry skills are essential.
