Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our team at Stanford University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinical research projects, including overseeing subject recruitment, data management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple clinical research projects, including coordinating with principal investigators, study sponsors, and research staff.
  • Oversee subject recruitment and study enrollment goals, developing effective strategies for promoting and retaining research participants.
  • Develop and manage systems to organize, collect, report, and monitor data collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and study sponsors to monitor and report serious adverse events, and resolve study queries.
  • Provide leadership in determining, recommending, and implementing improvements to policies and processes, defining best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in clinical research, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications, and experience with research protocols and regulatory or governing bodies.
  • Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification is preferred.
Working Conditions

The position may require working with or being in areas where hazardous materials and/or exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluid or tissues and risk of exposure to contagious diseases and infections. May require extended or unusual work hours based on research requirements and business needs.
