Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in an elementary school setting.

Salary: $15-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that involves implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist.

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to modify intervention strategies as needed.
  • Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid RBT certification
  • Solid understanding and practical application of ABA principles
  • Strong organizational and data collection skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from supervising professionals
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
