About the Role

Award-winning Avera is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical surgical care to patients, working closely with experienced medical practitioners to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other necessary tasks.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical care.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Tech program and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
