Job Overview

The Student Assistant for the Center for Empowerment and Pedagogical Innovation (CEPI) will support the center's daily operations and initiatives. This part-time position requires up to 10 hours per week and is suitable for an organized individual seeking to gain educational program support experience.

The student worker will help coordinate events, perform basic clerical tasks, and assist with organizing and managing data for the CEPI website and related projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with coordinating and organizing events, including preparing materials, scheduling, and managing logistics.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and maintaining records.
  • Organize and manage data for the CEPI website, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurately represented.
  • Support the development of content for CEPI communications and outreach efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and document preparation.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Understanding of event planning, including logistics and material preparation.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with staff and faculty.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and procedures as needed.

Salary and Work Environment
