Job Title: Customer Trainer

Location: Remote with travel throughout the US and to Canada

Job Summary/Overview

The Customer Trainer will engage with Company associates, distributors, integrators, and end users to develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that supports the entire portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training facilities and curriculum, training aids, and workbooks for in-person and online course offerings
  • Coordinate and conduct various training sessions, including hoist, motor, crane maintenance, crane operator, inspection, rigging, linear motion, and other related topics
  • Assist the e-commerce team in managing day-to-day activities within the online training storefront, including customer registration, order changes, troubleshooting, and other tasks
  • Coordinate travel, lodging, and car rental arrangements associated with training obligations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify key training needs and develop programs that support business objectives
  • Design in-person and online training programs that address business needs, new product orientation, and other critical areas
  • Deploy a variety of training methods, including lecture, hands-on, webinars, online, and social media, with an emphasis on digital platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through evaluations and customer feedback
  • Resolve specific problems and tailor programs as necessary
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving in the field and in the office
  • Quote customers, end users, and sales staff on course offerings and pricing
  • Maintain Shopify and LearnUpon
  • Represent the Company on various regulatory boards and organizations as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related major
  • 5+ years of technical training experience
  • Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered
