Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at Sandia Resort & Casino. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all payroll-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain payroll accounting processes and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain payroll management information systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for 2000 employees
  • Direct payroll disbursement functions, including direct deposits
  • Research and analyze time and attendance systems
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger payroll journals
  • Compile and prepare employer payroll tax forms
  • Communicate with department managers to provide training and information on payroll systems
  • Coordinate with the Human Resource department to resolve employee concerns and issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Four years' experience in payroll processing and reconciliation
  • Two years' supervisory experience
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
