Storage Business Development Manager

The Storage Business Development Manager at SHI GmbH aims to identify and drive growth opportunities through outbound activities and profiling whitespace accounts. This role is a key touchpoint in the sales cycle to acquire and grow SHI's Storage and Data Center business in whitespace accounts.
This position requires reporting to the SHI GmbH office location as determined by management.

Responsibilities
Drive storage and account growth for SHI by prospecting, profiling, and qualifying whitespace accounts. This includes prospecting via cold calling, email touches, and other means to uncover opportunities and meetings. Profiling and updating profile information in our CRM tool is also a key responsibility. Staying on top of company, competition, vendor, and technology knowledge is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Relevant sales and cold-calling experience, as well as CRM experience, are also necessary. Experience in Storage and/or Data Center sales is preferred. Key skills include a passion for hunting for new business, proficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a desire to learn and a winning track record.
Additional Information
This position requires up to 25% travel to attend conferences and visit customer sites. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000, including a base salary and commission. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending. SHI is an equal employment opportunity employer.
