About the Role

As a key member of our Savas and Sons team, we are seeking a skilled High-Performance Commercial Appliance Service Technician to join our ranks. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair or a related field.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of high-performance commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring seamless operation and optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and perform repairs/replacements as necessary to maintain equipment performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with defective equipment, applying problem-solving skills and technical expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, providing timely support to minimize business disruption.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair or a related field (e.g., automotive or maintenance).
  • Familiarity with appliance wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
  • The ability to handle physical demands associated with the role, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex problems quickly.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, ensuring safe transportation of equipment and personnel.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening, maintaining a professional and trustworthy reputation.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and equipment, including those used in commercial kitchen appliance repair.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
