$60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, providing guidance and support throughout their journey towards long-term sobriety.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility
  • Facilitate the development and review of individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling services, ensuring regular check-ins and progress evaluation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Develop aftercare plans and discharge strategies to ensure ongoing support
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, with at least 3+ years of individual counseling experience
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Science with a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals highly valued
  • LADC I or LADC II certification and 2+ years of substance abuse counseling experience also considered
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, non-judgmental approach, and acceptance of patient populations
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen required
