We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals looking to work with a reputable healthcare staffing agency.
Job DescriptionThis 13-week contract will have you working as a Neonatal Respiratory Therapist in Chicago, Illinois. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting any concerns or issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, transporting patients as needed, and participating in on-call rotations.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a neonatal setting.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and patient-centered care.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull equipment, and stand for extended periods.

- An estimated salary of $**95,000 - $110,000** per year, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
