Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sleeper Tech Specialist to join our team at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $25.80 - $38.70 per hour, based on relevant experience.

About the Role

The Sleeper Tech Specialist will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. Key responsibilities include preparing equipment for testing, interviewing patients to determine sleep disorder issues, performing testing, scoring and interpreting results, and educating patients about test results and available resources.

  • Prepare equipment for sleep studies and ensure accurate calibration
  • Conduct thorough interviews with patients to understand their sleep disorder concerns
  • Perform sleep studies and analyze results to identify potential sleep disorders
  • Educate patients about test results and provide recommendations for further treatment
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and study results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred background in polysomnography or respiratory therapy
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or equivalent
