About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in an industrial setting. As a CNA, you will provide essential healthcare support to our manufacturing staff, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees for injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace.
  • Assist with health screenings and physical examinations.
  • Monitor and record employees' vital signs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and authorized.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and healthcare providers.
  • Conduct health and safety training sessions for staff.
  • Support health and wellness programs.
  • Assist with workplace health initiatives and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in TN.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or occupational health setting preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s).
  • Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred.
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift.
  • Previous occupational health experience is a plus.
  • A high degree of professionalism and customer service in both written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
