Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Specialist Night Shift to join our team at Community Health System.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and computer systems.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Verifying patient insurance benefits and explaining financial requirements
  • Preparing pre-admission and admitting forms, assigning rooms, and facilitating room transfers as necessary
  • Interviewing patients and preparing standard registration forms
  • Performing clerical and secretarial work as required
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
