Key Responsibilities:
As a Global Fund Services Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of relationship managers and overseeing the performance of the unit. You will conduct performance management processes, identify training and development needs, and establish performance standards for the team. Additionally, you will determine staffing needs, make hiring decisions, and handle salary administration to ensure the unit has the necessary resources to achieve its priorities.
Client Focus:
You will be responsible for allocating client accounts to relationship managers based on client needs and maintaining communication with sales staff to anticipate and meet client needs effectively. You will also prepare and analyze consolidated quarterly reports on new business progress for the unit and present results to senior management. Furthermore, you will oversee client profitability, understand the competitive environment, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and developing pricing strategies to enhance profitability.
Leadership and Expertise:
This role requires a seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise. You will be responsible for carrying out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and ambiguous issues, displaying a balanced, cross-functional perspective, and liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. You will also develop periodic goals, organize work, set short-term priorities, monitor activities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent oral and written communication skills, in-depth functional/industry knowledge, and highly flexible and adaptable to change. You will also require technical skills/systems knowledge and leadership and organizational skills to determine the business unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff. A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred, and related industry qualification is also preferred.
