About Abraxas OhioAbraxas Ohio offers Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services and Behavioral Health Treatment Services for adolescent males, ages 12 - under 21. We are dedicated to building better futures for at-risk youth, adults, and families. Our diversified array of services includes alternative education, outpatient counseling, in-home services, shelter, detention, residential treatment, and re-entry/transition services. Job SummaryThis is a clinical service position providing a full range of behavioral healthcare services directed toward the therapeutic care and rehabilitation of adolescents with mental health or substance abuse disorders. The successful candidate will participate in the planning, organization, and delivery of cross-disciplinary services, including assessment, treatment planning, counseling, specialized behavioral plans, and safety plans. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team and work with us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk youth.
Responsibilities- Administers and completes client screening and assessment tools, including ERASOR, J-SOAP, and Psychosocial Assessment.
- Provides diagnostic assessments for clients, as assigned, and with the appropriate clinical expertise.
- Serves as a member of the treatment team regarding ongoing assessment of client needs and coordinates with others to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintains security and confidentiality of client information and completes appropriate documentation.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Experience in social work, crisis intervention, and counseling within the substance abuse and mental health, including juvenile sex offender and sexual abusing behavior youth.
- Thorough knowledge of current health/mental health issues and problems, available community/clinical resources, and best practice therapeutic intervention skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A social worker licensed by the state of Ohio counselor, social worker, and marriage & family therapist board, and whose professional disclosure statement includes juvenile sex offender assessment and treatment.

Our estimated salary for this position is $58,000 annually for Bachelor level LSW and $60,000 annually for Master level LSW.
