Behavioral Therapist

Piece by Piece Autism Centers is dedicated to providing high-quality ABA therapy services to children and adolescents with autism in our Crawfordsville, Indiana clinic.

$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

As a Behavioral Therapist at Piece by Piece Autism Centers, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism, providing a safe and organized environment for effective learning to occur. Your responsibilities will include teaching expressive and receptive communication skills through applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques, as well as daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hand washing, toothbrushing, feeding, and other hygiene-related tasks.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe and organized environment for effective learning
• Teach communication skills through applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques
• Teach daily living skills
• Enter data into Catalyst, an iPad program
• Follow individualized behavior plans written by the client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Communicate with caregivers through objective, data-driven notes

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years of age, have a clear background check, and be able to assume and maintain various postures for extended periods of time. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
