Medical Director Role in Pharmaceutical Communications

About the Role
This Medical Director position is a strategic opportunity for medical professionals with expertise in pharmaceutical communications. As a key resource for internal teams and clients, you will leverage science in brand differentiation and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned products, related medical areas, and competitors to inform strategic decisions.
- Critically review content developed by agency team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in workshops and stay up-to-date with relevant literature to craft compelling marketing implications.
- Establish strong relationships with clients and manage medically related interactions independently.
- Contribute to new business pitch teams and develop pitch materials that showcase your expertise.
- Create communication platforms as internal content roadmaps for brand communications.
- Mentor copywriters and medical writers, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of their work.

Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field.
- Extensive experience in medical or scientific roles with a proven track record of success.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this role is $135,000-$185,000, commensurate with experience.
