Award-winning Avera St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This exciting opportunity offers competitive pay, front-loaded PTO, and options for free health insurance, making it an ideal fit for those looking to advance their careers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing respiratory conditions in neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. With 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, this role requires a strong foundation in all modalities of respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, blood gases, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup, and monitoring.
To be eligible, candidates must hold an Associate's degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care or a Bachelor's degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care preferred. Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska are also required. The position offers opportunities for career growth and development, with a variable days schedule that includes 9 or 12 hour shifts and 72 hours every 2 weeks.
